My academic journey has been a rewarding experience where I got the opportunity to explore different domains of physics and data science. It started with a Ph.D. in theoretical physics at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER)–Kolkata. During my Ph.D. I studied the aspects of AdS/CFT correspondence, which is a direct consequence of string theory. Later, I joined Batoi Systems Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with the Center for Quantum Science and Technology (CQST). Here I contributed to developing a software platform for data-driven decision-making: Batoi Insight. Now I am a postdoctoral researcher at CQST, working on quantum key distribution (QKD), post-quantum cryptography (PQC), and applications of random matrix theory (RMT).
My industry experience exposed me to diverse data analysis techniques such as statistical modeling, machine learning–based forecasting, and multivariate correlation analysis. During this period my colleagues at CQST also introduced me to concepts like RMT and QKD, shaping much of my current research.
